Q:How low is the platform, and do I need a ramp?

Low-profile decks are roughly 80-125 mm high depending on size and capacity. A removable approach ramp lets forklifts and pallet trucks drive on; for a flush surface we supply a pit frame and recessed mounting
Q:Can it be made fully stainless steel?
A:
Yes. Full 304 stainless deck and frame plus stainless IP-rated cells are available for food, pharmaceutical, chemical and washdown environments.

A:
Standard floor scales use double-shear-beam alloy-steel cells; stainless IP67/IP68 cells are offered for wet areas. Four cells share the load through a sealed junction box for even four-corner accuracy.
