Q:What is an IH chemical process pump?
A:
The IH pump is a horizontal single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump manufactured by Jiangsu Xiangsu Machinery Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. It follows international standards, designed for transporting clean or slightly corrosive liquids without solid particles in industrial process systems.
Q:What wet-end materials can you supply for IH pumps?
A:
We offer 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, cast steel and custom alloy options. Material selection depends on your liquid medium, temperature and corrosion level.
Q:Can IH pump transfer liquid with solid particles?
A:
Standard IH chemical pumps are not suitable for media with large or abrasive solids. If your liquid contains solids, we recommend slurry pumps instead.
Q:What sealing types are available for IH pumps?
A:
Mechanical seal is the standard configuration. Packing seal is optional. We can provide different mechanical seal solutions for various corrosive working conditions.
Q:What causes low flow or no discharge of IH centrifugal pump?
A:
Common causes include air leakage on the suction pipeline, insufficient priming, blocked suction pipe, wrong motor rotation direction or excessive suction lift. Please inspect the pipeline and vent air before startup.
