This bracket is made of steel with a smooth zinc plated finish. It is shaped like a T with a wide mounting base and an upright round post standing at its center.
The base plate carries four countersunk holes near its corners. Countersunk seating lets the screw heads sit flush with the plate surface.
The post is permanently fixed to the base so the whole part works as one solid unit. A shallow groove near the top of the post accepts the shelf during fitting.
In use the base is screwed to a wall or cabinet side and a shelf with a matching hole is pushed over the post. The hardware then disappears inside the shelf for a floating look.
This mounting style carries the shelf weight mainly through the steel post. It is a dependable choice for display shelves in living rooms and bedrooms.
