The hinge is built from thick zinc plated steel plates that keep a bright silver appearance.
Its central joint stacks several round plates around a strong hex bolt so the hinge can hold many set angles.
One arm is a flat strip with four aligned circular holes, and the other ends in a U-shaped bracket.
The U-shaped bracket provides both oval slots and round holes for flexible bolt installation.
A pair of such hinges is typically mounted on both sides of an adjustable sofa headrest or backrest.
