This mechanism is built from heavy steel plates and bars finished in matte powder-coated black for a durable and scratch-resistant surface.
A set of parallel links connects the lower mounting rail to the upper lifting rail so the moving part rises while staying level.
A long extension arm moves together with the linkage and carries a small support leg that helps brace the lifted surface when it is open.
Pre-drilled mounting holes are provided on the bottom rail, the top rail and the far end bracket for fixing the mechanism to a furniture frame.
A coiled tension spring spans between two of the links to counterbalance the weight and assist the user when the top is lifted into position.
