This T shaped bracket is made from steel with a zinc plated finish. It has a rectangular base plate and a round post that stands out from the center of the plate.
Four countersunk holes at the corners of the base let flat head screws fix it to the wall. When mounted against a stud the plate stays level and tight.
The post carries several circular grooves along its outer end and tapers at the tip. The taper makes it easy to start the shelf onto the post.
A shelf drilled with a matching hole is slid over the post until it meets the wall. The bracket is then completely hidden behind the shelf face.
The grooves give a keyed surface that can work with set screws or adhesive inside the shelf. This design supports solid shelves without visible metal parts.
