Q:Is Pandora translucent stone marble?

Natural Pandora backlit slab is Brazilian quartzite, not real marble. Quartzite is harder, more stain-resistant and durable than marble. We also offer affordable sintered stone replica versions with similar patterns.

Q:What thickness is suitable for backlit effect?

3 to 6mm ultra-thin slabs deliver the best glowing crystal effect. Slabs thicker than 8mm have weak light transmission. For countertops, we add aluminum honeycomb backing for reinforcement.

Q:Can we install backlight on finished walls?

Backlit stone needs a 10 to 15cm cavity behind slabs for LED sheets and transformers. It s easier to install during renovation, and we also provide metal frame kits for post-installation retrofit.
