AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryXiamen Le Young Industry Co., Limited is a China-based leather-products manufacturer offering OEM and ODM services. Its product range includes leather folders, wallets, notebooks, portfolios, diaries, journals, card holders, and related hotel supplies. The supplier reports annual productivity of 500,000 leather folders, exports covering 71%–90% of sales, and 11 years of exporting experience, with markets across multiple global regions. ISO 9000 certification and stated quality assurance are positive indicators. However, finished-product inspection is handled by packing staff, and the supplier reports no written procedures or records for service assessment, corrective actions, or complaint handling. It has no overseas warehouse, showroom, agents or branches, and no offline trade-show participation. R&D resources appear limited: fewer than five R&D engineers, no new products in the past year, no 3D software design service, and no SDK, although flexible customization and ODM/OEM services are available....

Supplier typeThe supplier is a limited company manufacturing and offering leather products, with product coverage spanning leather folders, wallets, notebooks, portfolios, diaries, journals, card holders, and hotel supplies. It also welcomes OEM and ODM engagements, indicating a manufacturer-oriented supplier rather than a purely trading profile.

CertificationsThe supplier reports ISO 9000 certification and states that quality assurance exists in its quality-control processes. These are explicit positive quality-system indicators, although the provided information does not identify the exact certificate scope or validity details.

After-Sales capabilityThe supplier reports no written procedures or records for service-capability assessment, corrective and preventive actions, or customer-complaint handling. It also lacks overseas warehouses, showrooms, agents, branches, and offline trade-show participation, indicating limited documented and overseas service infrastructure.

R&D capabilityInnovation resources appear limited: the supplier is identified as not being a professional technical supplier, has fewer than five R&D engineers, reported no new products in the past year, does not provide 3D software design services, and has no SDK. ODM availability is confirmed, but it does not offset the explicit limitations in the broader R&D evidence.

Production capacityThe supplier states that it has a well-run factory and reports annual production of 500,000 leather folders. It has exported for 11 years, holds self-operated import and export rights, and serves a broad set of international markets, providing explicit evidence of established manufacturing and export capability.

Customization capabilityFlexible customization is explicitly available, and the supplier welcomes both ODM and OEM services, including OEM service for popular brands. These capabilities support customized product development and branded manufacturing, despite the absence of 3D software design and SDK support.
