They are installed between transformer windings to form cooling oil ducts, support and separate winding discs, maintain oil circulation for heat dissipation, and provide insulation support.
Q:What is the material, why choose beech wood?
A:
Made of premium European beech (Fagus). It features dense texture, high compression strength, good compatibility with transformer oil, stable dimension after oil immersion, no metal impurities and no eddy current.
Q:What is the continuous operating temperature in transformer oil?
A:
Class A insulation, long-term service temperature up to 105 degrees Celsius in mineral transformer oil with good thermal stability.
Q:Can you customize sizes? What is the tolerance?
A:
Custom width, thickness and length are available. Normal tolerance 0.2mm, high precision machining per drawings is acceptable.
Q:What is the difference between solid beech spacer and electrical laminated wood spacer?
A:
Solid beech spacer is cost-effective for medium & small transformers. Laminated wood spacer has higher density and better anti-deformation performance for large high-voltage transformers.
