Q:What is hydrophobic polyurethane injection grout mainly used for?
A:
It is single component chemical grouting material for emergency water stop, crack sealing and structural reinforcement. Widely applied for concrete cracks, construction joints, borehole wall stabilization, dam seepage control, mine fractured strata reinforcement, highway/railway foundation stabilization and soil improvement under long term water immersion conditions.
Q:What is the expansion ratio of this hydrophobic PU grout?
A:
When reacting with water, it expands 15 to 25 times original volume, cures into strong non water soluble foam mass without shrinkage to fully fill voids and leakage channels.
Q:Is this product single component? What equipment do I need for construction?
A:
Yes, single component liquid, no on site mixing required. Suitable for common single component high pressure grouting injection machines. Clean equipment immediately after finishing work.
Q:What are the storage & shelf life conditions?
A:
Store in cool & dry place within 5 to 40 grados Celsius, avoid sunlight, rain and fire source. Valid shelf life is 6 months from manufacturing date. Protect from impact during transportation.
Q:What safety precautions should construction crews follow?
A:
Wear gloves & safety goggles to avoid direct skin contact. It is solvent based; keep good ventilation and stay away from open flame during application. Do not expose to fire before full curing. Rinse skin with plenty of clean water once contacted.
