Q:What is the key advantage of this sag-resistant PU coating compared to standard single-component products?
A:
The thixotropic formulation prevents sagging or slumping on vertical surfaces and pitched roofs. It maintains a smooth, uniform finish during vertical application without material runoff, which reduces waste and rework on sidewalls of underground structures.
Q:What substrates is this coating suitable for?
A:
It is designed for non-exposed waterproofing on concrete surfaces that are sound, smooth, dry and fully cured. Common applications include sidewalls of underground structures, pitched roofs and other vertical or inclined surfaces prone to sagging.
Q:How many coats are required and what is the consumption rate?
A:
Apply 2-3 coats with a total thickness of at least 1.5mm. The first coat should be approximately 0.5mm. Reference dosage is 1.5kg per square meter for 1mm thickness. Allow approximately 24 hours between coats.
Q:What is the packaging specification and storage requirement?
A:
Packed in 25KG buckets. Store inverted at 5 to 40 degrees Celsius, away from fire, direct sunlight and rain. Once opened, use within 4 hours and reseal remaining material.
Q:Is a protective layer required after application?
A:
For roof applications, a protective layer is required. Apply 3-5cm cement mortar or lay paving tiles after the coating has fully cured for areas subject to foot traffic.
