It is a phase barrier. When switching on/off the DC breaker (especially DC1000V solar system), electric arc will be generated. This plate separates terminals and copper bars of different phases, preventing arc flash and phase-to-phase short circuit. It also provides safety isolation to reduce the risk of accidental contact with live terminals during maintenance.
