Advanced Self-Discharging Permanent Magnetic Separator for Reliable Iron Removal

It is an overband magnetic separator that uses a permanent magnet system to automatically attract and remove tramp iron from material on a conveyor belt. The "self-discharging" design automatically carries captured iron away to the non-magnetic zone, so no manual cleaning is required.

Material passes under the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet block. Ferrous impurities are attracted onto the magnetic surface, then carried by the self-cleaning belt to the side where the magnet field ends, where they are automatically discharged.

Permanent magnet types need no electric power to generate the magnetic field, so they save energy, run cooler and cost less. Electromagnetic types offer adjustable and stronger field strength but consume electricity, generate heat and have a higher price.

It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, building materials, coal, chemical, food, ceramics, glass, waste recycling and sand & aggregate processing to protect crushers and improve product purity.
