Q:What materials and working conditions is the Lotus Grab suitable for?

With a multi-petal bionic design, it is ideal for irregular, bulky or lump materials such as scrap steel, rebar, construction waste, rocks, timber, municipal solid waste, etc. It is widely used in scrap yards, ports, demolition sites, and mining loading/unloading operations
Q:How to choose the number of petals (4, 5, 6, etc.)?
A:
For large, heavy materials (e.g., scrap steel, logs), 4 or 5 petals are recommended for stronger gripping force; for fine or mixed bulk materials(e.g., mixed waste, small scraps), 6 or 8 petals provide tighter closure and less spillage. Customization is available based on material size and density
Q:Is it hydraulic or mechanical? What's the difference?
A:
Both hydraulic and mechanical types are available: hydraulic is cylinder-driven, flexible in opening/closing, can be with rotation, and is efficient for excavators; mechanical is driven by pulley blocks and wire ropes, simpler and more durable, mostly used on cranes. Selection depends on your application
