Q:What materials are available for your die-casting?
A:
We mainly do aluminum alloy and zinc alloy die-casting.
Common grades: A380, ADC12, A413, Zamak-3, Zamak-5.
Custom alloy requirements are acceptable.
Q:Do you need to make new molds for die-casting parts? What about mold cost?
A:
Die-casting requires custom mold according to your 2D/3D drawing.
Mold cost will be quoted separately. The mold belongs to you after full payment, and we will maintain it for long-term
production.
Q:What tolerance can you reach for die-cast parts?
A:
We follow ISO 8062 standard die-casting tolerance.
For tighter dimension requirements, we can do secondary CNC machining to achieve higher precision.
Q:What is your MOQ for die-casting orders?
A:
Die-casting is a mold-based process. After mold completion, there is no strict MOQ for mass production.
Small trial orders are acceptable, but unit price will be higher for small quantity.
Q:Can you produce only according to samples without 3D drawings?
A:
We need 3D STEP/IGES file for mold making.
If you only have physical samples, we can do reverse-engineering to create 3D drawings with extra charge.
