Heavy Duty 3 Axle 40FT Skeleton Semi-Trailer for 20FT/40FT Container

The standard 3 axle skeletal semi-trailer is universally compatible with 20ft, 40ft and 45ft standard containers, equipped with 12 international standard container twist locks. We also offer double 20ft container version which can haul two 20ft containers simultaneously, and extendable version adjustable from 40ft to 48ft for special container sizes.

The standard 3 axle skeletal semi-trailer has a load capacity of 40-50 tons, and heavy-duty reinforced version can carry up to 60 tons. The actual load depends on axle configuration, main beam thickness and road conditions. It is equipped with 3 FUWA 13-ton axles (BPW optional), double high-strength manganese steel main beams, and multi-leaf spring suspension, ensuring stable heavy load performance.

The standard 3 axle 40ft skeletal semi-trailer has a curb weight of 6-7 tons, which is 2-3 tons lighter than a box semi-trailer. The lightweight skeletal design means you can haul more cargo under the same total weight limit, improving operational profit. We also offer extra lightweight version with high-strength steel, reducing weight to about 5.5 tons for fuel saving.

We use RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipment for semi-trailers, which is the most economical and safe method. The trailer is towed onto the vessel by tractor head, no lifting needed. If destination port has no RORO terminal, we can arrange break bulk shipment or container shipment (for small trailers). FOB, CIF, DAP terms all available. We can also ship multiple trailers in one vessel to save freight cost.
