Common materials include Polycarbonate (PC) for lenses due to impact strength and clarity; PC/ABS Blends for housings and bezels; PBT for reflector parts requiring thermal stability; and PMMA (Acrylic) for internal lenses or light guides.

Mould Flow Analysis (CAE simulation) simulates how molten plastic fills the cavity. It is critical because it predicts defects like air traps and weld lines, optimizes gate locations and cooling channels, and saves time and money by fixing issues digitally before steel cutting.
