Q:What products can be tested?
A:
Suitable for electronic components, automotive parts, outdoor lighting, communication equipment, electrical switches, instruments, drones, and other products requiring dust protection certification.
Q:What type of dust is used?
A:
Dry talcum powder or quartz sand with a particle size less than 75 um complying with IEC 60529 standard requirements is normally used. Specific dust can also be substituted in accordance with customer requirements.
Q:How long does one test take?
A:
Standard test duration is 8 hours of continuous dust blowing, but different durations and cycles can be programmed as required.
Q:How to determine if a product passes the test?
A:
After testing, inspect inside the product for dust ingress. IP5X allows limited dust ingress without affecting normal operation; IP6X requires complete dust exclusion.
Q:What is the warranty period?
A:
One year for the whole machine, two years for key components like compressor. Lifetime technical support provided, free repairs within warranty period.
