Q:What is the steam aging test chamber used for?
A:
It is used for accelerated corrosion and aging tests of electroplated layers, oxide films, rust-preventive oils and paint coatings on metal parts, by exposing specimens to saturated steam at up to 97C. Typical users are hardware plating, automotive & motorcycle parts, sanitary ware, fasteners, electronics hardware and sporting goods factories, for IQC / OQC incoming and outgoing inspection.
Q:What is the temperature accuracy and how long does it take to warm up?
A:
Temperature is controlled by a PID+SCR micro-computer system with an accuracy of 0.5C. The chamber reaches stable test conditions in about 45 minutes
Q:What is the inner chamber size and how many specimens can be tested at once?
A:
Inner chamber is 500*400*200 mm (approx. 40L) with 3 pull-out specimen trays, allowing parallel multi-group testing. Larger chamber sizes and additional trays can be customized.
Q:Is it safe to run unattended?
A:
Yes. The machine has low-water-level auto-protection that stops the heater and timer when water is insufficient, and shuts off automatically when the set time is reached. The cabinet is stainless steel and the handle is heat-insulated.
Q:Can the voltage and chamber size be customized?
A:
Yes. We can supply 110V / 220V / 380V on request, and customize the inner chamber size, temperature range, number of pull-out trays and timer range. Tell us your specimen size and we will recommend a model.
