In a mixed flow fan, air flows axially through the casing while the blades are angled diagonally. It combines the high air volume and low pressure drop of an axial fan with the higher static pressure of a centrifugal fan, making it ideal for applications requiring both high airflow and high pressure, such as pressurization and smoke exhaust.

Q:What is the noise level of mixed flow fans?

The noise level depends on the model, speed and operating point. Standard types are about 65~85 dB (A). Silencers can be added or the fan can run at lower speed to reduce noise. If you have a noise limit, please tell us and we will select accordingly.
