Modern Design Deep Embossing Wood Grain Outdoor Flooring WPC Decking

WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite. It is a man-made product composed of 60% wood powder, 30% recycled plastic (HDPE), and 10% additives. Unlike traditional timber, it is created by heating, molding, and cooling the mixture, offering an authentic timber appearance with realistic wood-grain effects.

The manufacturing process involves three main steps: (a) Mixing raw materials according to a specific formula and forming them into pellets. (b) Using an extrusion machine and mold to shape the products into customized profiles and sizes. (c) Performing surface treatments like sanding or embossing, then cutting the decking to the requested length before packaging.

Composite decking is waterproof, fire retardant, UV resistant, anti-slip, maintenance-free, and durable. It requires very little maintenance as it is not susceptible to wood rot, dampness, or pests. It does not need treatment, sealing, or painting, and it will not fade, crack, or splinter. It also absorbs very little water and is slip-resistant, making it ideal for wet areas like pools.

Popular colors include Teak, Grey, Brown, and Coffee. Additionally, colors are customizable and adjustable to meet specific project requirements.

Composite decking is available in two key varieties: capped (co-extrusion) and uncapped. Capped boards have an outer plastic layer for extra protection against fading and staining, making them easier to clean. Uncapped boards are hard-wearing but more susceptible to fading. Both varieties come in solid or hollow formats, with solid boards being heavier and more rigid, while hollow boards are lighter and easier to maneuver.
