No. Electromagnetic flow meters have a straight-through, obstructionless design (full bore). There are no moving parts or obstructions inside the flow tube, which means no pressure loss and minimal energy consumption. This makes them ideal for gravity-fed or low-pressure systems.

A:
Electromagnetic flow meters typically support multiple output options: Analog: 4-20mA, 0-10V; Pulse / Frequency (for totalizer); Digital communication: RS485 Modbus, HART, Profibus, Bluetooth (optional). Some models also offer wireless transmission (4G, NB-IoT, LoRa) for remote monitoring.

Yes. Electromagnetic flow meters are available in two configurations: Compact (integral) type: Converter mounted directly on the sensor; Remote (split) type: Converter installed up to 100 meters away from the sensor. The remote type is ideal for high-temperature environments, submerged installations, or locations with limited access.
