Q:What is an XPS backer board?
A:
An XPS backer board is a rigid, lightweight, and 100% waterproof tile backing panel consisting of a high-density XPS foam core reinforced with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh on both sides and coated with polymer-modified cement mortar. It serves as a superior substrate for tile installations in walls, floors, and wet areas.
Q:How is the board installed?
A:
The board can be easily cut to size using a utility knife or saw. It is fixed to walls or floors using appropriate adhesive and/or board screws. All joints should be sealed with waterproof sealing tape or mesh tape. Tiles can then be applied directly using cement-based tile adhesive. For detailed installation guidelines, please refer to our product manual.
Q:What packing options are available?
A:
We provide two flexible packing methods: Pallet Packing (Standard) with shrink-wrapped PE film and corner guards for stability, and Bulk Packing (Loose Loading) for cost-effective large orders. Custom packaging materials, pallet sizes, or bundle weights can also be requested.
Q:What are the payment terms?
A:
We accept LC, T/T, D/P, PayPal, Western Union, and Small-amount payment. A deposit or final order details are required before production begins.
