Q:What are the differences between rigid clamps and flexible clamps?
A:
Rigid coupling locks pipes without displacement. Flexible coupling allows slight axial and angular movement to absorb vibration and thermal expansion, ideal for seismic pipelines.
Q:Can the rubber gasket be replaced?
A:
Standard gasket is EPDM. NBR gasket is available for oil-containing media.
Q:Is it suitable for seawater or acid & alkali medium?
A:
Standard red epoxy coated version is only for clean water and fire water. Lined plastic or galvanized type can be customized for corrosive service.
Q:Can you provide UL/FM certificates for export orders?
A:
Yes, UL/FM, CE, material test report and hydrostatic test report are available.
Q:What are the installation requirements?
A:
Steel pipes must be grooved by grooving machine. Align pipe ends and tighten bolts evenly, do not fasten one side over-tight.
