Q:What media can this safety valve work for?

It is designed for steam and compressed air, temperature more then 350. Used on boilers, air tanks and pressure vessels. Not for strong corrosive media.

Q:Is the set pressure pre-set at factory? Can we adjust pressure on site?

All valves are calibrated and sealed before delivery as customer's requirement. DO NOT remove the lead seal and adjust pressure on site. Pressure re-calibration must be done by qualified institutions.

Q:Any requirement for installation?

The valve must be installed vertically, bonnet upward. Avoid pipe stress on valve flange. Keep enough space at discharge outlet.

Q:Valve leaks after popping open, what causes it?

1. Dirt trapped on sealing face. 2. Improper blowdown pressure. 3. Damaged sealing surface. Clean or regrinding is required.
