Q:How fast does the ink dry or set on press?

ZLQ sheetfed offset ink is formulated to remain stable on press for extended periods. Under normal pressroom conditions (temperature below 25, moderate humidity), the ink can stay in the fountain and on rollers for 10 12 hours without skinning. For longer stops, we recommend using an anti drying spray to prevent skin formation.

ZLQ ink is formulated with excellent water balance properties, ensuring stable ink-water emulsion under normal dampening conditions. The recommended fountain solution pH is 4.5 5.5, with alcohol content between 4 12% depending on your press type. Proper dampening control minimizes emulsification and scumming, keeping your rollers and plates clean throughout the print run.
