Offset Printing Ink for Sheetfed Offset Printing Press

Sheetfed offset ink is a printing ink designed specifically for sheet-fed offset presses where individual sheets of paper are fed into the press. It is widely used for high quality commercial printing including brochures, packaging, folding cartons, magazines, and art books on both coated and uncoated papers. The ink cures by a combination of oxidation and penetration, delivering sharp images and vibrant colors.

ZLQ sheet fed offset ink performs excellently on a wide range of substrates. It works best on coated papers (glossy, matte, and art papers) and performs well on uncoated stocks, cardboard, and recycled papers. For non-absorbent substrates like plastic films or metallic papers, we recommend using our specialized UV offset ink series,please consult our team for the right formulation.

ZLQ sheetfed offset ink is formulated to remain stable on press for extended periods. Under normal pressroom conditions (temperature below 25, moderate humidity), the ink can stay in the fountain and on rollers for 10 12 hours without skinning. For longer stops, we recommend using an anti drying spray to prevent skin formation.

ZLQ ink is formulated with excellent water balance properties, ensuring stable ink-water emulsion under normal dampening conditions. The recommended fountain solution pH is 4.5 5.5, with alcohol content between 4 12% depending on your press type. Proper dampening control minimizes emulsification and scumming, keeping your rollers and plates clean throughout the print run.

We offer the standard four process colors (CMYK) as well as a full range of Pan-tone spot colors. The ink has high pigment concentration, delivering maximum color density with optimal contrast.
