AI-Powered supplier vetting

SummaryThe supplier is a China-based trading company established in 2020, with eight employees and a valid import and export license. Its stated business scope covers pumps, vacuum equipment, mechanical equipment, building materials, electrical equipment, hardware, and related products. The supplier reports flexible customization and five years of export experience, but finished products are checked by packing staff and no quality-control testing equipment was found on site. Quality and service management has significant documentation gaps: no written procedures or records were found for supplier service assessment, corrective and preventive actions, or complaint handling. The supplier has no overseas warehouse, showroom, agent, branch, or offline trade-show participation. One R&D engineer is assigned to after-sales technical services, while no customer cases or cooperative suppliers are documented. Financial data is excluded from this assessment in accordance with the privacy requirement.

Supplier typeThe supplier is explicitly identified as a trading company and limited company, with eight employees and no indication that it belongs to a larger corporate group. Its business scope is broad and includes sales and repair of mechanical, electrical, pump, vacuum, building-material, and hardware products, indicating a trading-oriented rather than clearly manufacturing-oriented profile.

After-Sales capabilityOne R&D engineer is responsible for after-sales technical services, and non-conforming units are reportedly repaired and re-inspected. Nevertheless, there are no written procedures or records for complaint handling, service capability assessment, or corrective and preventive actions, and the supplier has no overseas agents, branches, warehouses, or showrooms; this indicates limited documented and overseas service infrastructure.

Production capacityThe supplier is categorized as a trading company with eight employees, and its scope emphasizes product sales and repair rather than manufacturing. Finished products are checked by packing staff, two quality inspectors are reported, and no quality-control test equipment was found on site; these findings do not demonstrate substantial in-house production capability.

Customization capabilityThe supplier explicitly reports flexible customization capability. No further details are provided regarding engineering resources, customization scope, tooling, prototypes, or production validation, but the stated capability is direct evidence supporting this field.
