The tanks can be made of food-grade SUS304 or SS316L stainless steel. For the SS316L option, wetted parts are made of SUS316L for corrosion resistance, while non-wetted parts are made of SUS304 to reduce cost. One listed brewing-tank construction uses a 3.0 mm inner jacket and a 2.0 mm external jacket for high-pressure resistance.
