This modular belt is engineered specifically to handle unstable, cylindrical, or small-based products that easily tip over on a flat conveyor. It provides the ideal rib thickness and gap ratio for PET bottles, metal cans, and small glass containers. It is widely used in beverage filling lines, food processing, and packaging automation where liquid drainage and product stability are top priorities.

Your choice depends on your operating environment and load capacity. POM (Polyoxymethylene) offers superior mechanical strength and lower friction, making it perfect for heavy loads (up to 1400 N/m) and moderate temperatures. PP (Polypropylene) is lighter and highly resistant to chemicals, ideal for handling acidic foods or mildly corrosive environments, though its max load is lower (650 N/m). Both materials require a minimum back-flex radius of 240mm.

The raised rib structure is specifically designed for open drainage. In most wet applications, the fluid flow naturally flushes small particles away. For dry applications with fine dust or debris, we recommend using a low-pressure water wash (if your process allows) or an automated brush cleaner. Because POM and PP have excellent resistance to common industrial cleaners, routine maintenance is quick and non-intensive.

For our standard ZE1600 series, the pin material is carefully matched to the belt material to ensure thermal expansion compatibility and joint strength (PBT pins for POM belts, PP pins for PP belts).
