5930 Series Perforated Plastic Modular Belt Conveyor Design

Thanks to the 6% open area, this ZE5934 belt is highly recommended for wet and food-grade environments. It is widely used in fruit/vegetable washing, fish/seafood processing, pet food manufacturing, and bottling plants. The holes effectively let water and debris pass through, preventing bacterial growth and ensuring hygienic production.

The working load depends on the material combination: POM body + PA pins: ~14,000 N/m (Highest strength & wear resistance) POM body + PP pins: ~13,000 N/m (High strength, standard use) PP body + PP pins: ~7,000 N/m (Lighter weight, chemical resistance) Choose POM for abrasive or high-tension applications. Choose PP if you need chemical resistance and lighter weight. PA pins offer superior durability compared to PP pins.

Our belts feature a pitch of 19.05mm and are assembled using modular widths. Standard assembly follows W = 76.2mm * N (integer multiples). For unique frames, we offer non-standard width assembly: W = 76.2mm * N + 19.05mm * n. Important note: Please be aware that plastic materials naturally have a shrinkage rate of 0.1% to 0.3%. It is highly recommended to consult our technical team to calculate the precise dimensions based on your unique factory environment before placing a bulk order.

POM (Polyoxymethylene) is harder, has lower friction, and is exceptionally strong. It handles high working loads (up to 14000 N/m) very well. PP (Polypropylene) is lighter and offers excellent resistance to corrosion, acids, and alkalis. The table on this page provides distinct load ratings-if your conveying process involves acidic or chemical washes, PP is your go-to choice. If you need to move heavy boxes or parts dry, POM is ideal.

The ZE5934 features a 4.8mm diameter plug pin that connects each module securely. The interlocking design reduces pin stress, extending the life of the belt. Routine maintenance is simple: just inspect the pins occasionally for any visual wear. Because we use high-grade PA or PP pins, they resist fatigue and breakage far better than standard industrial alternatives. Regular washing to remove debris from the 19.05mm pitch holes will also significantly prolong the belt's lifespan.
