Q:What moisture is required for qualified biomass pellets?

Ideal moisture range:12-18%. Too high moisture creates loose, fragile pellets. Over-dry materials cause overheating and heavy wear on rollers and dies.
Q:Can one pellet machine produce different pellet diameters?
A:
Yes. Swap ring-die or flat-die molds to get 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm pellets of different sizes.
Q:What is the difference between flat-die and ring-die pellet mill?
A:
Flat-die units fit small-scale production, flexible for raw materials and simple to operate. Ring-die machines serve large continuous lines, featuring higher output and stable long-hour running.
Q:How to improve biomass pellet hardness?
A:
Control raw-material moisture, adjust die-roller gap, select proper-compression-ratio die and maintain steady feeding speed.
