100% nitrile glove manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize material purity, ensuring the gloves are 100% synthetic nitrile polymer to avoid latex allergies. Key metrics include thickness (measured in mils), where 3-4 mil is standard for exams and 5-8 mil for industrial use, and tensile strength, which should meet or exceed 14 MPa before aging. Additionally, check the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level); a rating of AQL 1.5 is the industry standard for medical-grade gloves, while AQL 4.0 is acceptable for industrial use.

For the US market, gloves must be FDA 510(k) cleared and meet ASTM D6319 standards. For the European Union, they must comply with EN 455 (Medical) and EN 374 (Chemical protection), carrying the CE Marking. If the gloves are intended for food handling, ensure they are NSF certified or meet FDA CFR 21 177.2600 requirements for food contact safety.

The primary difference lies in testing and certification. Medical-grade gloves undergo rigorous testing for pathogen permeability and must have a lower AQL (1.5 or less). Industrial-grade gloves focus more on puncture resistance and chemical barrier properties. Always request third-party lab reports (e.g., SGS or TUV) to verify that the product matches the intended usage scenario.

Cost-efficiency is driven by weight per glove (grammage) and order volume. A standard medium glove usually weighs between 3.5g to 5.0g. Heavier gloves cost more due to raw material usage. To optimize costs, leverage container-load orders (FCL) to reduce per-unit shipping costs and seek direct factory partnerships on Made-in-China.com to bypass middleman markups, which can save 15-25% on total procurement costs.

The most significant risk is material substitution, where suppliers blend nitrile with cheaper vinyl (blended gloves). To mitigate this, use Trade Assurance services and mandate a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Ensure the contract specifies '100% Nitrile' to provide legal recourse if the material composition is found to be fraudulent during lab testing.

Focus on long-term capacity allocation rather than just spot pricing. Ask for the supplier's monthly production capacity and current lead times. Negotiate a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against Bill of Lading) and include a quality penalty clause in the Sales Confirmation to hold the manufacturer accountable for defects exceeding the agreed AQL.

Nitrile gloves are bulky; therefore, vacuum packaging or optimized box dimensions can significantly reduce freight costs. Ensure the HS Code (typically 4015.19) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. For shipping to the US or Europe, verify that the outer cartons are marked with the country of origin and meet local labeling requirements to prevent seizure at the port of entry.

Utilize the 'Audited Supplier' reports on Made-in-China.com, which provide verified data on factory facilities, business licenses, and export capabilities. Request a live video tour of the production line and ask for recent export records (Redacted B/Ls) to confirm they have experience shipping to your specific region.
