1000 litre tank manufacturers

For standard industrial and food-grade use, ensure the inner container is made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with UV stabilizers to prevent degradation from sunlight. The outer cage should be constructed from galvanized steel to resist corrosion. If storing drinking water or food products, the material must be BPA-free and FDA-compliant.

Check for UN Certification markings if the tank is intended for hazardous goods. The tank should feature a reinforced bottom plate to prevent sagging and a 4-way entry pallet (steel, plastic, or wood) for forklift stability. Ensure the discharge valve (butterfly or ball valve) has a secondary seal to prevent leakage during transit.

Buyers must prioritize suppliers who adhere to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. For food-grade applications, look for ISO 22000 or HACCP certifications. For hazardous materials, the tank must pass drop tests, leakproofness tests, and hydraulic pressure tests as per IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods) codes.

Yes, professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer customization such as anti-static (EX) liners for flammable liquids, black-out layers to prevent algae growth in water, and integrated heating jackets for high-viscosity liquids. Always confirm if the gasket material (EPDM, Viton, or Teflon) is chemically compatible with your specific liquid.

Since 1000L tanks are voluminous, shipping 'air' is expensive. Use Full Container Load (FCL) shipping; a standard 40HQ container can typically hold 42 to 52 units. Consider stackable designs to maximize vertical space. For long-distance sea freight, ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty shrink wrap to prevent cage oxidation from sea salt.

The primary risk is structural damage or valve leakage during transit. Mitigate this by requesting a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify wall thickness and valve pressure. Use Secure Payment services on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after proof of shipping and quality verification.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Negotiate for spare valve kits and gaskets to be included in the bulk price. For orders exceeding 100 units, aim for a 10-15% discount compared to sample pricing. Ask for a warranty of at least 2 years on the HDPE bottle against environmental stress cracking.

Ensure the supplier provides a Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading. If the tank is for food use, a Health Certificate or Phytosanitary Certificate may be required. For chemical tanks, a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN Packaging Certificate are mandatory for customs compliance.
