191 820 413 d manufacturers

The 191 820 413 D is a specific OEM part number primarily for Volkswagen and Audi air conditioning systems. When sourcing, you must verify the core dimensions (typically around 530x322x16mm), the material composition (high-grade aluminum is standard for heat dissipation), and the fitting types (threaded or block fittings). Ensure the supplier provides a leak test report (helium or nitrogen pressure testing) to guarantee vacuum integrity before shipment.

To avoid costly returns, request the supplier to provide technical drawings or 3D CAD models. Cross-reference the OEM cross-reference list (e.g., matching with Nissens, Denso, or Valeo equivalents). For B2B buyers, it is essential to confirm the bracket positions and sensor ports match the original design exactly, as even a 2mm deviation can prevent installation in the vehicle's radiator support frame.

Prioritize manufacturers that hold IATF 16949:2016 certification, which is the global standard for automotive quality management systems. Additionally, ensure the products meet ISO 9001 standards. Ask for salt spray test results to verify corrosion resistance, especially if you are distributing to regions with high humidity or snowy climates where road salt is used.

A high-performance condenser should feature micro-channel tube technology for maximum surface area contact. The fin density (measured in FPI - Fins Per Inch) should be consistent to ensure optimal airflow. Look for a burst pressure rating that exceeds standard operating pressures by at least 1.5x to handle extreme summer temperatures without failure.

Automotive condensers are extremely fragile due to their thin aluminum fins. You should mandate reinforced export packaging, such as double-walled corrugated boxes with custom foam inserts or individual plastic protectors for the threaded connectors. For bulk orders, insist on palletization with corner protectors and shrink-wrap to prevent crushing during sea freight handling.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a 1-2% defect allowance or spare parts credit in the contract. If sourcing via Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' and use their secured payment services to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment and passing third-party inspections.

Ensure the HS Code (typically 8418.99 or 8708.91) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications. If shipping to the US or EU, verify if there are any anti-dumping duties currently applicable to aluminum heat exchangers. For smaller trial batches, Air Freight is safer for the product's physical integrity, but for commercial scaling, LCL (Less than Container Load) with professional crating is the most economic route.

Check the supplier's Business Type (Manufacturer vs. Trading Company) and their years of experience in the cooling system niche. Review their Audit Reports provided by third-party agencies like SGS or Intertek, which are available on their profile. A credible supplier should be willing to provide a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) video showing the specific batch being pressure tested.
