665 mesh exporters manufacturers

When evaluating 665 mesh (commonly used in industrial filtration, screen printing, or architectural applications), you must prioritize material grade (e.g., SUS 304, 316, or 316L) for corrosion resistance. Pay close attention to the wire diameter consistency and aperture precision, as even a 2% variance can compromise filtration efficiency. Ensure the supplier provides tensile strength reports to guarantee the mesh can withstand high-pressure environments without deformation.

Reliable exporters should adhere to ISO 9044:1999 standards for industrial wire screens. You should request a Material Test Certificate (MTC) that matches the heat number of the delivered batch. For food or medical grade applications, verify FDA or REACH compliance. It is highly recommended to use third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a 'dot count' and 'micrometer test' before the final balance payment is made.

Cost is primarily driven by the weight of the material and the complexity of the weave. To optimize your budget, consider bulk purchasing to reduce the per-square-meter price, as many exporters offer 15-25% discounts for orders exceeding 500 square meters. Additionally, evaluate the width of the rolls; sourcing wider rolls (e.g., 1.5m or 2m) can significantly reduce material wastage during your secondary manufacturing process.

This specific mesh count is frequently utilized in high-precision chemical filtration, aerospace hydraulic systems, and fine powder sifting. In the electronics industry, it is used for EMI/RFI shielding. Understanding your specific environment—whether it involves high temperatures, acidic exposure, or mechanical vibration—is crucial for selecting the correct surface treatment, such as passivation or electro-polishing.

Always prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com who have the 'Audited Supplier' badge, which confirms their manufacturing capabilities and business legitimacy. Use secured payment terms such as Letter of Credit (L/C) or escrow-based systems to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Avoid suppliers who insist on 100% upfront T/T payments for large-scale orders.

Mesh products are susceptible to edge damage and crushing. Insist that the exporter uses hardboard tube cores and waterproof PVC wrapping, followed by fumigated wooden crates for sea freight. For air freight, ensure the rolls are palletized to prevent bending. Clearly define the Incoterms (e.g., CIF vs. FOB) in the contract to establish exactly where the risk transfers from the seller to the buyer.

Standard 665 mesh is often in stock, but custom widths or special alloys can have a lead time of 20-35 days. During negotiations, include a penalty clause for late delivery (e.g., 1% reduction per week of delay). If you require custom slitting or stamping, request a pre-production sample to be sent via express courier to verify that the edges are burr-free and the dimensions are within the ±0.5mm tolerance range.
