Acquisition layer non-woven price manufacturers

When sourcing ADL non-woven materials, you must prioritize Basis Weight (GSM), typically ranging from 20 to 50 GSM, as it directly impacts the fluid distribution speed. Ensure the material uses Through-Air Bonded (TAB) technology, which provides superior loft and void volume compared to thermal-bonded alternatives. Key performance metrics include Strike-through time (should be <3 seconds) and Rewet values (should be <0.2g) to ensure the surface remains dry for the end-user.

The most common composition is a PP/PE (Polypropylene/Polyethylene) sheath-core fiber blend. Hydrophilic treatments are essential; verify the durability of the surfactant used, as low-quality treatments may wash off after the first fluid insult. High-loft structures command a higher price but offer significantly better fluid management and breathability, which are critical for premium hygiene products like baby diapers and adult incontinence pads.

Since ADL is used in hygiene products, it must be skin-friendly and hypoallergenic. Suppliers should provide ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental standards. Crucially, request OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification to ensure the absence of harmful substances, and verify compliance with REACH (EU) or FDA (US) regulations regarding materials in contact with human skin.

Request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com should demonstrate consistency in tensile strength (MD/CD) and uniformity of fiber distribution. Use a backlight test or electronic inspection systems to check for 'thin spots' or holes that could lead to product failure in high-speed converting lines.

The biggest risk is moisture damage and contamination during sea transit. Non-woven rolls are highly absorbent; ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty PE stretch film wrapping and palletization with moisture-absorbent silica gel packs. Another risk is volumetric weight charges; because ADL is high-loft and bulky, shipping costs can escalate. Negotiate vacuum packaging options if feasible to reduce volume without crushing the fiber structure.

Pricing for non-woven materials is highly sensitive to raw polymer resin (PP/PE) market fluctuations. Negotiate a formula-based pricing model tied to global resin indices for long-term contracts. For initial orders, leverage Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Services to ensure payment is only released upon verification of the Bill of Lading (B/L) and pre-shipment inspection reports.

Given the low density and high volume of ADL rolls, Full Container Load (FCL) is almost always more economical than LCL. Work with freight forwarders experienced in hygiene raw materials to optimize container loading patterns (e.g., vertical vs. horizontal stacking). Ensure the HS Code (typically 5603) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays and verify if your country has anti-dumping duties on specific synthetic fiber products.

Always prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone third-party verification by agencies like SGS or Intertek. Conduct a Video Factory Audit to inspect their clean-room environment; hygiene-grade materials must be produced in dust-free workshops to prevent foreign matter contamination, which is a leading cause of product recalls in the hygiene industry.
