Bathroom glass screen price manufacturers

Safety is the paramount concern for glass products. You must ensure the glass is Tempered (Toughened) and carries certifications such as ANSI Z97.1 (USA), EN 12150 (EU), or AS/NZS 2208 (Australia). Additionally, look for screens with a shatter-proof film (explosion-proof membrane) which prevents shards from scattering in the rare event of breakage.

Standard thicknesses range from 6mm to 12mm. While 6mm and 8mm are common for framed or semi-frameless designs due to their lighter weight and lower cost, 10mm and 12mm glass provides a premium, sturdy feel for frameless installations. Note that thicker glass significantly increases shipping weight and hardware requirements, impacting the total landed cost.

To differentiate your offering, prioritize glass with Easy-Clean or Nano-coating technology. This hydrophobic treatment reduces water spots and limescale buildup, which is a major selling point for end-users. Also, consider offering frosted, tinted, or silk-screen printed options for customers requiring enhanced privacy.

Hardware should be made of Stainless Steel 304 or 316, or High-Quality Brass with electroplated finishes. Avoid cheap zinc alloys, as they corrode quickly in bathroom humidity. Ensure the hinges and rollers have passed cycle tests (e.g., 100,000 opening/closing cycles) to guarantee longevity.

Glass is highly fragile. You must mandate Export-Standard Plywood Crating (not just cardboard) with foam corner protectors and honeycomb paper cushioning. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, ensure the crates are palletized to prevent manual mishandling. Always include 'Fragile' and 'This Side Up' markings in multiple languages.

Focus on the Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Ask for a breakdown of glass costs vs. hardware costs. If you are buying in bulk, negotiate for free spare parts (such as extra water seals and rollers), which usually account for 2-3% of the order value but are vital for after-sales service.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery. Before the final payment, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'Drop Test' on the packaging and a 'Fragmentation Test' on the glass to ensure it meets safety standards.

Due to the weight and fragility, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the only economically viable method. For large projects, Full Container Load (FCL) is preferred as it reduces the number of times the glass is handled, significantly lowering the risk of damage compared to LCL.
