Bear with sweater manufacturers

When sourcing plush bears, the outer fabric should be high-grade PV velvet or super-soft crystal plush to ensure a skin-friendly touch. The internal stuffing must be 100% PP cotton (polypropylene), which provides excellent resilience and prevents deformation. For the sweater, prioritize knitted cotton or acrylic blends that are anti-pilling and colorfast to ensure the garment maintains its appearance after multiple washes.

Compliance is critical for plush toys. For the US market, products must pass ASTM F963 and CPSIA (Lead and Phthalates) testing. For the EU, EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) and the CE mark are mandatory. Ensure the supplier provides a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC). Additionally, verify that the 'eyes' and 'nose' are safety-locked components that can withstand a pull force of at least 90N (approx. 9kg) to prevent choking hazards.

Examine the stitch density of the sweater; a tight knit prevents snagging. For branding, computerized embroidery is superior to silk-screen printing as it offers a premium feel and won't peel. Check the seam strength of the bear—double-stitched seams are preferred for high-traffic retail environments to prevent stuffing leakage.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com should offer OEM/ODM services, including custom sweater patterns (jacquard or embroidery), private labeling (woven neck labels and hangtags), and customized packaging (vacuum compression vs. gift boxes). Vacuum packaging can reduce shipping volume by up to 60%, significantly lowering freight costs.

Always utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your payment is only released after the supplier confirms shipment. Conduct a factory audit or request a Verified Supplier report to confirm the manufacturer's production capacity and R&D capabilities before placing a bulk order.

For 'Bear with Sweater' products, the MOQ is typically 500–1,000 pieces due to custom fabric dyeing and sweater knitting requirements. To lower the unit price, consider standardizing the bear body and only customizing the sweater. Negotiate a tiered pricing structure where the unit cost drops by 10-15% when moving from 1,000 to 5,000 units.

Plush toys are 'light cargo' (high volume, low weight). Use vacuum compression packaging to maximize container utilization. However, ensure the bear's 'rebound' quality is high so it regains its shape quickly upon unpacking. For shipping to the US or Europe, Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) is the most economical, but ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list to avoid customs delays.

Ensure the bear design does not infringe on copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney or Steiff patterns). If you are providing a custom design, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the supplier to protect your intellectual property and prevent your unique sweater designs from being sold to other buyers.
