Blue color ceramic tile manufacturers

For floor applications, ensure a Water Absorption rate of ≤0.5% (porcelain grade) to prevent cracking and staining. For wet areas like bathrooms or pools, a Slip Resistance rating of R10 to R12 is essential. If the tiles are for high-traffic commercial zones, verify the PEI (Porcelain Enamel Institute) rating is at least IV or V. For wall-only decorative blue tiles, a lower PEI rating is acceptable, but Dimensional Deviation should be within ±0.5mm to ensure seamless installation.

Blue pigments, especially cobalt-based ones, can vary between production runs. You must request the supplier to provide tiles from the same Color Tone (Shade) and Caliber (Size) batch. Ask for a Color Variation rating (V1 to V4); for a uniform look, stick to V1 (Uniform Appearance). Always request a pre-shipment production sample to compare against the master sample under D65 standard light sources to avoid metamerism.

Ensure the products comply with ISO 13006 or EN 14411 standards. For the US market, ANSI A137.1 is the benchmark. If you are importing into the EU, the CE Marking is mandatory. Additionally, verify that the glaze is Lead and Cadmium free, especially for residential indoor use, by requesting SGS or Intertek test reports.

Look for suppliers using 3D Inkjet Printing Technology, which allows for realistic textures like blue marble or Mediterranean patterns. Nano-polishing technology can enhance the glossiness and provide an anti-fouling layer. For outdoor blue tiles, ask about Full-body coloring (where the color goes through the entire tile) to ensure that chips or scratches are less visible.

Ceramic tiles are heavy and fragile. Insist on Fumigated Wooden Pallets with Plastic Shrink Wrap and Corner Protectors. The total weight per container should not exceed the limit of the destination port (usually 20-27 tons). Use Airbags or bracing between pallets to prevent shifting. It is highly recommended to purchase All-Risk Marine Insurance covering 'Breakage' specifically.

Focus on the Price per Square Meter vs. Quality Grade. Many suppliers offer 'Grade AAA' (Export Grade) and 'Grade B'. Always negotiate based on Grade AAA standards. Ask for a Volume Discount if ordering more than one full container (FCL). You can also negotiate for Free Spare Tiles (usually 1-3%) to cover potential breakage during transit or installation.

Check for Anti-dumping Duties (AD) and Countervailing Duties (CVD) on ceramic tiles originating from certain regions. For example, the US and EU have historically applied high duties on Chinese ceramics. Verify the HS Code (typically 6907.21) with your local customs broker to calculate the exact Import Tariffs and ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to benefit from any Free Trade Agreements.

Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after shipping documents are verified. For large orders, use a Letter of Credit (L/C) or a 30% deposit / 70% balance against Bill of Lading (B/L) copy. Never wire full payments to personal bank accounts; always ensure the Beneficiary Name matches the Company Name on the Proforma Invoice.
