Caps with brushes manufacturers

When sourcing these components, you must prioritize material compatibility and sealing integrity. Ensure the cap material (typically PP or HDPE) is chemically resistant to your product. The brush bristles, often made of Nylon or PBT, should have a specified stiffness and length tailored to the liquid's viscosity. Crucially, verify the neck finish (e.g., 18/410, 20/410) to ensure a leak-proof fit with your bottles, and look for PE liners or crab-claw seals to prevent evaporation.

The most common failure point is the brush detaching from the stem. You should request suppliers to provide pull-test data, ensuring the brush can withstand a specific Newton force. For high-end applications, look for staple-set or fused construction rather than simple glue-in methods. Additionally, check for bristle shedding resistance to avoid contaminating the end-product, especially in nail polish or pharmaceutical applications.

For the US market, ensure materials are FDA-compliant if used for food or cosmetics. For the EU, products must adhere to REACH and RoHS regulations regarding chemical substances. If the product is intended for hazardous liquids (like industrial glues), verify if Child-Resistant Closures (CRC) are required to meet ISO 8317 or 16 CFR 1700.20 safety standards.

Low-viscosity liquids (like thin oils) require soft, densely packed bristles to hold the liquid via capillary action. Conversely, high-viscosity liquids (like gels or heavy adhesives) require stiffer bristles and a thicker stem to provide enough leverage for even application. Always request samples for compatibility testing to ensure the brush does not 'clump' or 'splay' over time.

The biggest risks are material substitution (using recycled plastics instead of virgin grade) and dimensional variance. To mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and insist on a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Ensure the inspector checks the thread precision using a 'Go/No-Go' gauge to avoid mass-scale assembly failures at your filling line.

Standard caps usually have an MOQ of 10,000 to 20,000 units. If you require custom colors (Pantone matching) or specific brush lengths, the MOQ may increase. Negotiate for a staged price break: for example, a 10-15% discount when moving from 50k to 100k units. Always clarify if the mold cost is included in the unit price or billed separately for custom designs.

Caps with brushes are prone to bristle deformation if packed too tightly. Insist on polybagging inside double-walled corrugated cartons to prevent dust contamination and physical crushing. For sea freight, ensure the supplier uses pallets with plastic wrap to protect against moisture, which can affect the adhesive properties of the brush stems during long-transit times.

Look for the 'Audited Supplier' badge, which indicates the supplier has been verified by third-party agencies like SGS, Bureau Veritas, or TÜV Rheinland. Review their Audit Report specifically for their 'Production Capacity' and 'Quality Control' sections to ensure they have the machinery required for precision injection molding.
