Ceramic whiteboards, also known as porcelain whiteboards, feature a surface made of ceramic-on-steel, which is fired at extremely high temperatures (approx. 800°C). This results in a surface that is scratch-resistant, dent-resistant, and non-porous. Unlike painted steel, ceramic surfaces prevent 'ghosting' or staining, making them ideal for heavy-use environments like schools and corporate conference rooms. They also offer superior magnetic strength and can often double as a projection surface due to their low-glare properties.
