Choline chloride 99% price manufacturers

For high-purity Choline Chloride (99% crystal/powder grade), you must verify the Assay (99.0% min), Loss on Drying (≤0.5%), and Residue on Ignition (≤0.05%). Ensure the Heavy Metals (Pb) content is below 10ppm and Arsenic (As) is below 2ppm. For pharmaceutical or food-grade applications, the pH value should typically fall between 4.0 and 7.0 in a 10% aqueous solution.

Depending on the end-use, suppliers should provide ISO 9001 for quality management. If used in animal feed, FAMI-QS or GMP+ certifications are essential. For food or pharma grades, look for USP/EP/BP pharmacopoeia compliance and HACCP certification. Always request a recent COA (Certificate of Analysis) and a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) compliant with GHS standards.

Choline Chloride 99% is usually sold as crystalline powder. It is highly hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air), which requires hermetic packaging (usually PE-lined bags or drums). The price for 99% purity is significantly higher than the 50-70% corn cob carrier grades used in mass agriculture due to the refining process and the need for moisture-proof logistics.

Unlike lower grades used in poultry feed, 99% purity is primarily used in human nutrition (infant formula/supplements), pharmaceutical synthesis, and high-end industrial applications like shale gas hydraulic fracturing (as a clay stabilizer) and photoelectric cleaning agents in electronics manufacturing.

The biggest risk is moisture absorption during transit, which can cause caking and degradation of the assay. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum-sealed double-layer PE bags inside fiber drums. Another risk is purity fraud; always use third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to sample the cargo at the loading port before final payment.

Chemical prices fluctuate with raw materials like Ethylene Oxide and Trimethylamine. Negotiate a formula-based pricing for long-term contracts. For payment, prioritize Trade Assurance or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at sight). On Made-in-China.com, look for Audited Suppliers to ensure the factory actually exists and has the capacity to produce 99% purity.

Choline Chloride is generally not classified as a dangerous good (Non-DG) for sea freight, but you must provide a 'Certification for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods'. Ensure the container is kept in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area (Away from Heat). For 99% crystal, FCL (Full Container Load) is recommended over LCL to prevent cross-contamination and moisture exposure from other goods.

Check the 'Audit Report' available on the supplier's profile to verify their production lines, export licenses, and annual turnover. Focus on suppliers labeled as 'Diamond Members' who have undergone extensive on-site verification. Request a pre-shipment sample that is identical to the bulk batch and keep it for comparison upon arrival.
