This is a common risk where 201 grade is passed off as 304. Stainless hoses are susceptible to kinking and surface abrasion during transit. Insist on individual polybagging and the use of reinforced wooden crates (IPPC heat-treated) rather than standard cartons for bulk sea freight to prevent compression damage.

Verify the HS Code (typically 8307.10) to check for anti-dumping duties in your country. Ensure the Certificate of Origin (CO) is provided to benefit from preferential tariffs under Free Trade Agreements (FTA) if applicable.
