Frequency converter radiator main body manufacturers

The most critical factor is thermal conductivity. You should prioritize Aluminum Alloy 6063-T5 due to its excellent heat dissipation properties and structural strength. Ensure the supplier provides a material composition report to verify that the aluminum purity meets industrial standards, as impurities can significantly reduce cooling efficiency.

For standard applications, Aluminum Extrusion is the most cost-effective. However, for high-power density converters, Skived Fin or Bonded Fin technologies are preferred as they allow for higher fin density and surface area. If the environment is corrosive, ensure the radiator undergoes Anodic Oxidation (Anodizing) or Electrophoretic Painting to enhance surface protection.

Request a Thermal Resistance Test Report and a Pressure Drop Curve. For mechanical fit, specify a flatness tolerance of ≤0.05mm for the contact surface where the IGBT or power module attaches. This ensures minimum thermal interface resistance. You should also require CNC precision machining for mounting holes to avoid alignment issues during assembly.

The radiator must comply with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) to ensure it is free from lead and other toxic materials. If the final frequency converter is destined for the EU or US markets, the supplier should ideally hold ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and provide REACH compliance declarations.

Radiators, especially those with thin fins, are prone to bending. Insist on customized EPE foam packaging and vacuum sealing to prevent oxidation during long-term sea transit. Use reinforced wooden crates for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments and include ShockWatch labels to monitor handling quality.

Since aluminum is a commodity, prices are often quoted as 'Aluminum Ingot Price + Processing Fee'. Monitor the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminum prices. For bulk orders, negotiate a fixed processing fee and a floating material cost to ensure transparency. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Diamond Members' who offer audited supplier reports to ensure they are actual factories and not middle-men.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Never release the final 70% balance until a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is conducted by a third party (like SGS or Intertek). The inspection should focus on surface flatness, fin spacing, and salt spray test results.

Avoid relying solely on 2D drawings. Provide 3D STEP or IGES files to prevent interpretation errors. Clearly define the surface roughness (Ra) requirements in the contract. Misunderstanding the 'effective cooling area' versus 'total volume' is a common cause for performance failure in customized heatsinks.
