Gas stove battery ignition manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize the input voltage (typically 1.5V DC for single battery or 3V DC for double battery systems) and the output high voltage (usually ≥12kV to 15kV) to ensure a strong spark. It is critical to verify the spark frequency (typically 1-10Hz) and the continuous ignition time to ensure the module doesn't overheat. For high-end appliances, look for modules with integrated flame-out protection and feedback signal wires that work with solenoid valves.

Compatibility depends on the mounting dimensions and the number of outlets (e.g., 2-outlet for standard stoves, 3 or 4-outlet for stoves with ovens). Ensure the lead wire length and terminal connector types (e.g., 6.3mm or 4.8mm spade terminals) match your stove's internal wiring. Additionally, specify if the unit is for LPG (Propane) or Natural Gas, as the heat resistance requirements for the ignition needle may vary.

For the European market, CE marking and RoHS compliance (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) are essential. For North America, look for UL or CSA certification. Since these are electronic components used in gas appliances, the manufacturer should ideally hold an ISO 9001:2015 quality management certification to ensure batch consistency and prevent gas leakage risks caused by ignition failure.

The module must have high moisture resistance and heat insulation, as it is located near the burner. Look for units that are fully potted with epoxy resin, which protects the internal circuitry from humidity, grease, and high temperatures (up to 85°C or 105°C). A high-quality module should sustain at least 100,000 ignition cycles without degradation.

The primary risk is Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), where a poorly shielded igniter interferes with other electronic components in the stove. Another risk is high-voltage leakage due to poor insulation during transit or manufacturing defects. To mitigate this, always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) and verify the dielectric strength of the plastic casing.

When sourcing via Made-in-China.com, utilize the Secured Trading Service to protect your payment until the goods are verified. For bulk orders, negotiate a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against B/L) and request a 1-2% spare parts allowance for high-wear items like ignition needles and wires to cover potential shipping damages.

While these modules do not contain batteries themselves (they are battery-powered), they contain coils and transformers. Ensure the packaging includes anti-static shielding and sufficient cushioning (EPE foam) to prevent the fragile plastic tabs from snapping. For shipping to the US or EU, ensure the HS Code (typically 8516.90 or 9613.80) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays or incorrect duty applications.
