I have found results from7000+products and3000+suppliers aboutGlitter foam sticker
Buyers should prioritize EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam with a high-density structure to ensure durability and a soft touch. The glitter application must be 'non-shedding' or 'low-shed', achieved through high-quality thermal bonding or specialized adhesives to prevent glitter particles from detaching. For the adhesive backing, ensure it uses pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that offers a strong initial tack while remaining residue-free upon removal if marketed as removable.
Since these products are often used by children, they must strictly adhere to EN71 Parts 1, 2, and 3 for the European market and ASTM D-4236 or CPSIA for the United States. It is critical to verify that the foam and glitter are non-toxic, phthalate-free, and lead-free. Always request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and third-party lab test reports from the supplier before finalizing the purchase.
Request samples to check for die-cutting precision; the edges should be clean without jagged foam bits or 'angel hairs.' The glitter should be evenly distributed across the surface without bald spots. Perform a 'tape test' by applying a piece of adhesive tape to the glittered surface and pulling it off; minimal glitter transfer indicates a superior bonding process.
Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services, including custom shapes (via bespoke die-molds), specific Pantone color matching for the foam, and multi-layered 3D effects. Packaging can also be customized into retail-ready blister packs, polybags with header cards, or bulk PDQ display boxes to suit different sales channels.
The biggest risk is chemical non-compliance, which can lead to customs seizures. Mitigate this by using Trade Assurance services and specifying that final payment is contingent upon a passed pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek. Another risk is moisture damage during sea freight; ensure the supplier uses desiccants and moisture-proof outer cartons.
Start by asking for a tiered pricing structure (e.g., 5,000 vs. 20,000 units). If you are a new brand, negotiate a lower MOQ for a trial order by offering to use the supplier's standard glitter colors while customizing only the shape. Highlight your long-term procurement plan to secure a 5-10% discount on repeat orders.
Glitter foam stickers are lightweight but high-volume (bulky). For small trial orders, International Express (FedEx/DHL) is fastest, but for bulk commercial stock, LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight is the most economical. To optimize costs, ask the supplier to vacuum-pack the stickers if possible, or use high-compression inner boxes to reduce the overall volumetric weight.
Always conduct transactions through the secure payment systems provided by Made-in-China.com. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Verify the supplier's 'Audited Supplier' status and check their business license and export qualifications to ensure they are a legitimate factory rather than an unlicensed middleman.
