Isotropic rubber magnet manufacturers

When evaluating Isotropic Rubber Magnets, focus on Magnetic Strength (BHmax), which typically ranges from 0.6 to 0.8 MGOe for isotropic grades. Ensure the Flexibility allows the material to be bent to a specific radius (e.g., r=20mm) without cracking. Additionally, verify the Thickness Tolerance, which should ideally be within ±0.05mm for precision applications like sensors or printing.

For global trade, ensure the magnets are RoHS and REACH compliant to guarantee they are free from hazardous substances like lead or cadmium. If the magnets are used in toys or consumer goods, they must meet EN71-3 or ASTM F963 standards. Always request a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to confirm the chemical composition of the synthetic rubber and ferrite powder.

Isotropic rubber magnets can be supplied with various laminations. UV Coating protects the surface from oxidation and dust. For marketing materials, specify PVC lamination (matte or glossy) or Self-Adhesive backing (such as 3M or Tesa). Ensure the adhesive's peel strength is tested to prevent delamination under high-temperature conditions.

Isotropic magnets are magnetized in any direction and are ideal for refrigerator magnets, promotional items, and simple sensors due to their lower cost. In contrast, Anisotropic magnets have a preferred direction of magnetization and offer higher magnetic energy, making them suitable for micro-motors and industrial gaskets where stronger pull force is required.

The main risk is Magnetic Interference with aircraft navigation systems. For air freight, you must provide a Magnetic Inspection Report and use Shielded Packaging (iron sheets inside the carton) to ensure the external magnetic field strength is less than 0.00525 gauss at 15 feet. Failure to do so can lead to shipment rejection or heavy fines.

Focus on Volume-Based Pricing; for orders exceeding 5,000 square meters, you can typically negotiate a 10-15% discount. Also, request Free Samples to verify the magnetic pull force and adhesive quality before committing to a bulk order. Discuss Payment Terms like 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to mitigate financial risk.

Conduct a Pull Force Test using a digital force gauge to ensure it meets the specified grams per square centimeter. Check for Edge Smoothness to ensure no burrs from die-cutting, and verify the Magnetization Orientation (e.g., multi-pole on one side) matches your technical drawings.

Stay informed about Anti-dumping duties that some regions (like the EU or US) may impose on Chinese magnets. Utilize Made-in-China.com's verified supplier audits to ensure the factory has a valid Export License and can provide a Certificate of Origin (CO), which may help in reducing import tariffs under specific trade agreements.
