Jade pendant clasp price manufacturers

For premium jade jewelry, you should prioritize 925 Sterling Silver, 14K/18K Gold, or Platinum. Ensure the supplier provides precious metal purity test reports. If opting for silver, verify it has Rhodium or Gold plating to prevent oxidation and maintain a high-luster finish that complements the jade's texture.

You must evaluate the clasp mechanism type, such as pinch bails, snap-on bails, or screw-in pegs. For irregular raw jade, adjustable pinch bails are most versatile. Ensure the internal width of the bail is compatible with the thickness of the intended necklaces (e.g., silk cords vs. metal chains) to avoid assembly issues.

The clasp must undergo tension testing to ensure it can support the weight of heavy jade pieces (often 10g-50g). Check for seamless welding at the joints and a secure locking spring mechanism. High-quality clasps should withstand at least 500+ opening/closing cycles without losing tension or structural integrity.

Products must comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations, specifically regarding Nickel-free, Lead-free, and Cadmium-free requirements to prevent skin allergies. Always request a Third-party Lab Certificate (e.g., SGS or TUV) from the supplier before finalizing bulk orders.

Always use Trade Assurance services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment. Request a pre-shipment material assay test and insist that the supplier stamps the items with the correct hallmark (e.g., S925 or G18K). For large orders, hiring a third-party inspector to perform a random XRF metal analysis is highly recommended.

Negotiate based on the current market spot price of the raw metal plus a fixed labor/craftsmanship fee. Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer tiered pricing; you can achieve 15-25% savings by increasing the order volume to meet their 'Gold' or 'Platinum' wholesale brackets.

For high-value items like gold clasps, use insured express couriers (FedEx, DHL, or UPS) rather than standard postal services. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states the HS Code (e.g., 7113.11 for silver jewelry) to facilitate smooth customs clearance and accurate duty calculation.

Document the unboxing process with video evidence. If the plating thickness or metal purity does not match the proforma invoice, initiate a claim within the 7-14 day inspection window. Reliable suppliers on Made-in-China.com typically offer a replacement policy or credit for defective units found during QC.
