Jelly bags factory manufacturers

When sourcing from a factory, ensure the primary material is High-Grade PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). TPU is often preferred for premium lines as it is more eco-friendly, odorless, and has better yellowing resistance. Ensure the materials are BPA-free and Phthalate-free to meet international safety standards.

Focus on the molding precision; high-quality bags should have smooth edges without burrs or plastic flash. Check the hardware attachment points (rivets and chains) to ensure they are reinforced, as the weight of the bag can cause tearing in soft plastic. For transparent styles, verify optical clarity and the absence of air bubbles within the material.

For the US market, products must comply with CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) regarding lead and phthalate content. For the EU, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) compliance is mandatory. Always request third-party lab test reports (SGS, TUV, or Intertek) from the factory before finalizing the order.

A capable factory should offer OEM/ODM services, including custom mold development for unique shapes, Pantone color matching, and various branding techniques such as silk-screen printing, embossing, or metal logo plates. Inquire about their UV-resistance treatment options to prevent color fading during outdoor use.

Jelly bags are susceptible to heat deformation and pressure marks during long-transit sea freight. Require the factory to use internal air-filled packing (bubble pillows) to maintain shape and heavy-duty 5-layer corrugated master cartons. Ensure the container is stored away from heat sources on the vessel.

Utilize secure payment systems provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are protected until shipping documents are verified. Avoid 100% upfront payments; the industry standard is a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI).

Check the HS Code (typically 420222) for specific import duties in your country. For seasonal fashion items like Jelly Bags, consider Sea-Air combined transport to balance cost and speed.
